Dinner Time: Mediterranean Grilled Feast

To see the Summer Sky
Is Poetry, though never in a Book it lie -
True Poems flee.
~Emily Dickinson

After an enchanting trip to our local Persian market, we set out to make some spicy lamb kabobs (my dad's signature recipe), topped with a cool cucumber -yogurt sauce and served in grilled flat bread:
And for dessert, we satiated our sweet tooth with flakey, honey-flavored baklava:

All in all, a divine start to the week ahead....

  1. Yummy, yummy! Persian market? How wonderful! What a feast!

  2. Dang! We don't have one of those here, as you can imagine! Y'all are incredible cooks!! Kudos for the effort!
