It was a warm, clear, quintessentially summer evening here in SoCal. We decided to spend as much time outside as possible today.
After an enchanting trip to our local Persian market, we set out to make some spicy lamb kabobs (my dad's signature recipe), topped with a cool cucumber -yogurt sauce and served in grilled flat bread:
And for dessert, we satiated our sweet tooth with flakey, honey-flavored baklava:
All in all, a divine start to the week ahead....
