For weeks now, I've resisted the urge to put bowls of candy corn on my coffee table and mums on my front doorstep. Even though it's still warm outside, I've exercised self-control and kept my sweaters and suede boots at the back of the closet for a few weeks more.
But, just because I'm keeping my fallaphilia at bay until late September doesn't mean I can't swoon over a few yummy orange rooms:
What season most inspires your design aesthetic? Do you swoon over autumnal oranges and red? Or are you more of a light and springy pastel-lover? Perhaps the bright yellows and saturated greens of summer tickle your fancy? Or maybe you prefer the steely grays and muted shades of winter?
Pink Frenchie,
ReplyDeleteAutumn is brilliant foliage,
bright yellow, amber to crimson.
A fiery burst of color before winter.
Autumn is hot cider in the kitchen
and the scent of cinnamon
or cloves in mulled wine.
When it's cooler outdoors,
it's comforting to live
with these warmer colors.
